Today is more about a quote from Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, known as Molière.

He wrote many quotes as a French Playwright and Actor but one that stands out for me and the Marketplace is this one:

It is not only what we do, but also what we do not do, for which we are accountable.

He lived between 1622 and 1673 and has become known as one of the masters of comedy in Western literature, but he also had a unique take on the world.

Since we are looking at discussing how we should act in the Marketplace, perhaps this quote will guide us when we are talking to a customer. Whether we are selling an item or waiting for the next customer to appear, it matters just as much what you do as what you are not doing!
